2019 GKS Admission Call for Undergraduate School Studying at kit, Korea
 
We are pleased to inform you of 2019 GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) Guideline for Undergraduate candidates here in Korea. 
As the one and only national engineering specialized university in Korea, we will be able to nominate candidates up to 3. This might be a great opportunity for you to be able to study in Korea with a full government scholarship.
Please see attached for further information and if there are any candidates interested in this program, please send me one original application document package and no later than October 17th (Wed) 2018. Your original application documents must be delivered to my office by the deadline. (There will be interview video step after documents acceptance)
금오공대에 방문해 주셔서 감사합니다. 아래와 같이 2019 GKS(정부초청외국인 학부 장학생) 모집요강 안내하니 많은 지원 바랍니다. 
우리대학은 국내 유일의 국립 공과특수대학으로서, 총 3명의 후보자를 국립국제교육원에 추천할 수 있습니다. 더 자세한 내용에 관해서는 첨부파일 확인해 주시고, 구비서류 원본을 2018년 10월 17일(수요일)까지 보내주시기 바랍니다. 마감일이 지난 후에는 접수를 받지 않습니다. (서류 접수 후 동영상 인터뷰가 있을 예정입니다)
 
1. Applicants' CGPA must be more than 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4.3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale, 3.23 on a 5.0 scale, or 80 points or above on a 100 point scale or be ranked within the top 20% throughout the entire high school period. 
(Exception: An applicant who have been awarded with any scholarship programs from Korea for an undergraduate degree program is not eligible to apply)
 
2. Applicants who submit applications to more than two designated institutions will be disqualified.
 
3. Scholarship duration: 1 yr. of Korean Language + 4 yrs. of Bachelor’s
 
4. Applicants must be under 25 years of age as of March.1st, 2019(born after March. 1, 1994).
 
5. In case of submitting photocopied documents, applicants MUST have the copies notarized or apostilled and then submit the notarized or apostilled copies. 
 
주요 내용:
1.     고등학교 전학년 성적평균 평점(CGPA)이 4.0만점에 2.64이상, 4.3만점에 2.80이상, 4.5 만점에 2.91 이상, 5.0 만점에 3.23 이상인자, 또는 백분율 환산 점수가 80점 이상 혹은 성적 상위 20%이내인자
2.     지원자는 한 수학대학에만 지원가능
3.     장학기간: 1년 한국어연수 + 4년 학부과정
4.     2019년 3월 1일 기준 만 25세 미만인자(1994년 3월 1일 이후 출생한 자)
5.     서류 원본을 제출할 수 없는 경우, 당초 서류 발급기관으로부터 원본과 같다는 확인을 받은 복사본 또는 아포스티유 확인을 받은 서류를 제출할 수 있음
 
All required documents must be written by computer typing and send us one original document by post only (no e-mail application will be accepted). We don’t have online application for this GKS admission.
